본고는 다니엘서(8-12장)에 히브리어로 서술된 환상에서 참여자로서의 다니엘의 경험에 초점을 맞춘다. 이를 통해 다니엘서 1-6장에 서술된 사건들을 특징지어왔고 7장의 보좌 환상에서 절정에 달한 신적 생명에 대한 지혜로운 참여의 연속성을 주장한다. 다니엘서 7장을 다니엘서의 신학적 핵심으로 읽으면서, 본고는 8-12장에서 환상가로서의 다니엘의 경험이 신적 생명에 대한 지혜로운 참여의 본질에 더욱 분명한 빛을 비춘다고 주장한다. 보좌 환상에 의해 중재된 8-12장과 1-6장 사이의 결과적인 대화를 통해, 다니엘서에 나타난 신적 생명에 대한 지혜로운 참여의 본질에 대한 풍부하고 다채로우며 때로는 역설적인 모습이 나타난다.
This article focuses on the experience of Daniel as participant in the visions that are told in Hebrew in the book of Daniel (chs 8–12). In doing so, it argues for a continuity of wise participation in the divine life that has characterized events told in Dan 1–6 and culminating in the throne room vision of ch. 7. Reading Dan 7 as the theological hinge of the book of Daniel, the article argues that the experience of Daniel as visionary in chs. 8–12 sheds further light on the nature of wise participation in the divine life. From the resulting conversation between chs. 8–12 and 1–6, mediated by the throne room vision, emerges a rich and variegated, and occasionally paradoxical picture of the nature of wise participation in the divine life as conveyed in the book of Daniel.
