Bohdan Kuryliak studies Revelation’s temporal language and major visions through preterist, idealist, historicist, and futurist interpretations. His analysis covers the seals, trumpets, dragon and beasts, Babylon, and the millennium, alongside Christian reception from the second to the seventh century. Early interpreters frequently combined approaches according to the passage or symbol under discussion. On the basis of this reception history and textual analysis, Kuryliak proposes a historicist interpretation that incorporates insights from the other three approaches.
